...Because sometimes that's not what its about.
These are the coolest girls. Girls you wish you were like, because you know they know whats going on. And you wish you had some of that tiny special thing that makes them so much more beautiful than other girls...even if they aren't pretty.
That special thing: Confidence.

They had so much confidence it was almost ego centrism.
People pick up on stuff like that.
Anyway, this look is completely different for each person, but can be achieved simply.

1. Wear your hair natural, comb and brush it as little as possible. Just because its growing out of your head doesn't mean it needs to be a constant accessory. Let that shit grow and leave it alone.

2. Wear natural fabrics, or at least fabrics with natural texture. Stuff that can endure some serious wear and tear and not get destroyed. Fabrics they would have had in the 70's. Personally, I recommend vintage denim, homespun cottons and wools, wrinkled linen, things with embroidery etc.

3. Accessories. You can really pull this look together with some cool vintage accessories.

Glasses:Pink tinted sunglasses, round spectacles, aviators.
Jewelry: long necklaces, rock beads, many many bangles, leather thongs,
shell jewelry, chunky silver sculptural rings
Hair accessories: Keep it natural. Flowers pearls, hemp headbands, feathers
Hats: berets(black), straw hats, giant felt hats (black) knit hats in muted natural colors.

This look is a cross between 90's grunge, hippie and beatnik.

If you're into looking like this, I know you're a thrift store kid so I'm not even going to bother posting any online stores other than http://etsy.com/ and http://ebay.com/.

Happy searching!

love,
Kayla
